Trail Rides in the Phoenix Valley
Riding with a group on a trail ride can be a wonderful way to see and experience the beauty of our Arizona desert region. And there is much stark, raw desert beauty to see! There are plenty of places and options for choosing a trail-riding outfit (not the outfit you wear, of course, but the crew that takes you on the adventure). Here are a few of those options, with links to their websites where you can find more information:
Arizona Horses.com— Created by native Texan Rex Ross Walker in 1975, Arizona Horses offers a variety of trail rides on private trails that weave throughout an actual working ranch. The length of your ride can range anywhere from 1 to 8 hours. If you’re with friends, you can opt for ride packages that include breakfast or lunch, or even a steak dinner. Located in Phoenix, AZ, their rides will take you through the beauty of South Mountain Park.
Koli Equestrian Center at Wild Horse Pass— Suitable for beginners or advanced riders, this equestrian center is located in Chandler, AZ. Koli Equestrian Center Offers private or group rides on 2400 acres across the Gila River Indian Reservation. Rides are 60 or 90 minutes in length. One perk of their trips is that they don’t ride “head-to-tail,” but instead, invite everyone on the ride to spread out in order to get to know others in the party.
Saguaro Lake Ranch Stable— Located in Mesa, AZ, a ride with this outfit gives you the option of many beautiful Arizona sights, including the Sonoran desert, the Saguaro River, Bulldog Cliffs, and even a view of the Four Peaks Mountains. You’ll be able to choose rides that are 30, 60, and 90 minutes, or a 2-hour ride.

So, if you’re looking for a fun outing with family or friends, or you just want to spend some time connecting with the Arizona outdoors, you might consider swinging your leg up over the saddle and riding off into the proverbial sunset. And if you need help with planning a healthy financial future that enables you to pass on your hard-earned finances to the next generation, please contact us at Phelps LaClair firm, or sign up for one of our July or August seminars.
