Our 6 Favorite Arizona Spring Activities

Spring is an amazing season here in Arizona. The days start to get warmer, but it’s not so warm yet that you can’t enjoy being outside. The skies are blue and the world takes on an explosion of color thanks to the wildflowers and blooming cacti all around us. The staff at Phelps LaClair loves getting outside to experience the beauty of Arizona in the spring. Here is a list of our six favorite Arizona spring activities. We hope that you will enjoy them as much as we do!

Six Ways to Enjoy in Spring in Phoenix

1: Phoenician Cactus Garden

The best place to see saguaro cacti in bloom is the Phoenician Cactus Garden in Scottsdale. This two-acre retreat can be found at the base of Camelback Mountain. Sign up for a guided tour of the garden featuring 250 varieties of cacti and succulents, or wander to your heart’s content on your own, self-guided tour. (Guided tours occur every Friday at 9:00 am.)

A full celebration of Arizona in the spring would not be complete without a trip to the Maricopa County Fair! From April 6-10, the fair will take place at the Arizona Exposition & State Fairgrounds in Phoenix. Enjoy everything county fairs have to offer, including tons of food, games, rides, livestock, live entertainment, and much more!
