5 Fun Ways to Celebrate Fall in Phoenix/Arizona

As the weather turns cooler, there’s no better way to celebrate fall in Phoenix than with some fun family activities outside! Luckily there are lots of great ways to enjoy autumn in Arizona, from festivals to pumpkin patches to fall foliage. Today the Phelps LaClair staff are sharing five of our favorite fall activities in the Phoenix area.

Pumpkin Days at Tolmachoff Farms

Nothing says fall fun more than a visit to the pumpkin patch! Tolmachoff Farms is a four-generation family farm located in Glendale. The farm holds its Pumpkin Days from October 1st through 31st, and features a huge pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, a jumping pillow, a train ride, and more. There are also three different corn mazes to choose from: a 6-acre family corn maze, a mini corn maze for little kids, and a haunted corn maze for those who dare to enter!

2: Strange Garden at the Desert Botanical Garden

One of our favorite fall activities in Phoenix is the Strange Garden at the Desert Botanical Garden. The festivities will be held on Friday, October 22nd and Saturday, October 23rd during garden open hours. The garden encourages kids to visit wearing their Halloween best and be ready to get their groove on at the Monster Bash. There will also be pumpkins to take home for kids 12 and younger.

This fall festival has a little something for everyone, including a pumpkin patch, free hayrides, live music, a food court, and a carnival. The festival also includes a decorated pumpkin display and contest, and lots of arts and crafts vendors. Anthem is about 37 minutes north of Phoenix.
