Who We Are

In the early 1980’s, Stephen Phelps, an Arizona native, closed his piano studio and decided to help bring peace of mind to people through preparing living trusts. He worked to educate people on what a trust is, how it benefits them, protects them, their future and the protection it has for the next generation. Phelps LaClair is a local firm that has been providing living wills, trusts and estate planning services to its clients for over 40 years in Arizona. It has focused on bringing a family friendly environment to law. The family tradition continues in Phelps LaClair as James Phelps, Stephen’s son, has carried on what his father started since Stephen retired. The law firm also has two additional estate planning attorneys, Jeffrey LaClair and Bryan Holm.
