Leighten Hendrickson

Leighten is an attorney at Phelps LaClair whose practice is devoted exclusively to estate planning, probate, and trust administration.  The opportunity to help individuals protect the people and things they care most about, and to guide clients in creating a lasting legacy is what draws Leighten to this area of law. She takes pride in building close relationships with her clients and serving as a trusted advisor through their important life decisions.

Leighten grew up on a cattle ranch northeast of Tucson along the San Pedro River and considers Tucson her hometown. She is a proud Wildcat and maintains strong ties to the city.   After law school, she moved to Phoenix and now loves living in the Valley.

Leighten is married and has three young boys. She cheers for all Arizona sports teams, with the exception of ASU. Her husband’s family is from Pittsburgh, so she also roots for the Pirates and Penguins – and, as unfortunate as it is for a Cardinals fan, the Steelers too.  She enjoys going on adventures with her husband and kids, spending time with her large extended family and friends, cooking, and gardening.
